Soft Seated Floating Ball Valve

Overview

The QBV type PN16~PN63 floating soft-seal ball valve is used for pipelines with Class150~Class1500, PN16~PN63, and JIS10K~JIS20K standards. It is designed to either shut off or open the medium flow within the pipeline. By selecting different materials, the valve can be applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, liquefied gas, natural gas, coal gas, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing agents, urea, and more.

Features

• Among various types of valves, ball valves have the lowest flow resistance. When a full-bore ball valve is fully open, the ball passage, valve body passage, and connecting pipe have the same diameter, allowing the medium to flow through with almost no loss.
• The ball valve can be fully opened or closed with a 90° rotation, ensuring quick operation. Compared to gate valves and globe valves of the same specification, ball valves are smaller in size, lighter in weight, and easier to install in pipelines.
